Where It Starts

I was born July 16, 2006 in Kansas City. I grew up the fourth of eight kids in a family where work wasn't something you were sent to — it was something you were raised in. My dad started Brick Doctor, a masonry company that traces its trade five generations back through our family. Before I could drive, I was working alongside my brothers on brick repair jobs across the Kansas City metro, learning what it means to do something right the first time.

My brother Cole runs Brick Doctor now, and my brother Dalton works there too. Four of us brothers spent years on job sites together, working hard, laughing harder, and learning a standard for quality that I carry into every detail I do today. When I show up at your driveway with my setup at 7am, that's where it comes from.

Why I Started Premier Detailing

The honest answer: a normal 9-to-5 job was never going to get me where I needed to go. Not because I didn't want to work hard — I've worked hard my whole life. But because the work I feel called to do in this world requires something a regular job can't provide: the freedom and the funds to go.

I started Premier Detailing LLC out of the money I saved working at Brick Doctor with my brothers. Every dollar I had earned building something with my hands went into building something of my own. The business is the vehicle — the mission is what's driving it.

Faith First

I'm not going to hide this or tuck it into the last paragraph. My faith is the reason Premier Detailing exists. It is the reason I exist — at least in the way that matters.

When I was younger, I was lost. I won't dress it up. I was in a dark place that most people don't talk about openly, and one night at 2 in the morning I was in my room and I had reached the end of what I could carry alone. I said out loud, with tears — "God, if you're real, prove it to me. I need help."

I picked up a Bible my mother had given me that I had never opened. I put my thumbs between the pages and let it open where it would. And it said:

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."

— Psalm 121:1–4, KJV

I felt the Spirit of the Lord fill that room. From that moment I have never looked back — because I know exactly who I was and where He has allowed me to be now. He took me when I was at the bottom. When I looked at myself and said worthless, He looked at me from the cross and said priceless.

I now attend Monticello Gospel Assembly in De Soto every Wednesday night and every Sunday morning. I travel nearly every month to church camps and fellowships across the United States. And every year, I am pushing toward doing more mission work in the places that need it most.

Honduras and Beyond

Last winter, my brother Dalton Young and his wife Leanne traveled with me to Honduras on a mission trip. We traveled across the country with missionaries already working there, and I saw firsthand what it looks like when the gospel reaches people who have nothing else to hold on to. I plan to go back this coming winter.

That trip did not happen because of luck. It happened because I was willing to build something — Premier Detailing — that could fund it. Every car I detail, every five-star review, every new customer booking through this website — it is working toward something bigger than a clean car.

My long-term dream is to use the revenue from Premier Detailing to help build churches, fund missionaries, and get the gospel to places around the world that have never heard it. That might sound ambitious for a 19-year-old with a white Hyundai Accent and a pressure washer. Maybe it is. But I have watched God do things in my own life that I had no business receiving — and I'm not done yet.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

— Romans 8:28

The Family Behind the Business

I have 7 brothers and 1 sister. All of my brothers are Christians and all of them have shaped who I am. Four of us — including Cole and Dalton — spent years on job sites together at Brick Doctor. Dalton works there to this day and made the Honduras trip with me. My brother Cole carries on our dad's masonry business — a 5th generation trade that our father started before he passed, and that now continues through Cole's hands.

I grew up in a family where you worked alongside each other, laughed all day, and built things that lasted. That is the culture I carry into Premier Detailing. When you book with me, you are not hiring a company. You are hiring a 19-year-old who was raised to take his work seriously, treat people honestly, and do the job right — or do it again.

Basketball, Work, and What's Next

Growing up, I played basketball for 11 years. 1st Team All-Conference my junior and senior year. 3rd Team sophomore year. All my brothers played sports too — competition is just part of how we grew up. I take that same mentality into the work: show up, put in the time, and outperform what you did yesterday.

And somewhere down the road — maybe after the vans are branded, the employees are hired, and the business is running without me in every car — I want a ranch. Cattle, horses, pigs, chickens. Old western country living, wide open land, and the kind of quiet that lets you hear clearly. That's the dream on the far side of all of this.

Until then, I'm in De Soto, Kansas, with my pressure washer and my microfibers, working every job like it matters — because it does.

What You Get When You Book With Premier Detailing

You get a 19-year-old who has 53 five-star Google reviews and zero negative ones. Who shows up on time, communicates before and after every job, and does not leave until the vehicle matches what was promised. Who learned his work ethic on a masonry crew with his brothers at 6am, and who has a very specific reason why the business succeeds — because the reason is bigger than the business.

If that is the kind of person you want working on your vehicle, book online here or call or text me directly at 913-391-1868. I serve all of Johnson County — De Soto, Olathe, Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, and Shawnee.

God is so good.
