Leather car seats require specialized cleaning and conditioning to prevent cracking, fading, and wear. Premier Detailing LLC provides professional leather cleaning throughout Johnson County, KS.
Book Online NowLeather car seats are among the most valuable and most neglected components of a vehicle interior. In Kansas, where summer temperatures push vehicles to 140°F interior heat and UV exposure is intense, leather that is not regularly cleaned and conditioned begins to crack, fade, and stiffen within 2-3 years.
Premier Detailing LLC cleans leather seats using 212°F dry steam to penetrate and lift embedded grime from the grain without soaking the leather, followed by light agitation and proper leather conditioner to restore flexibility and UV resistance. The result is leather that looks and feels renewed rather than simply wiped down.

Johnson County has a high concentration of luxury vehicles, Range Rovers, BMWs, Mercedes, Lexus SUVs, Cadillacs, and high-trim domestic vehicles with premium leather packages. These seats represent significant value and require careful handling.
I use products and techniques appropriate for perforated leather, semi-aniline leather, and Nappa leather, not just standard pigmented automotive leather. No harsh chemicals that strip oils.

My leather cleaning process involves: steam cleaning at appropriate pressure to loosen embedded dirt and grime from leather grain without over-wetting, light agitation with a soft boar hair brush, extraction, and leather conditioner application to restore suppleness and protect against UV cracking. I do not use harsh chemicals that strip leather's natural oils.
Leather conditioning is included in the Leather Conditioning add-on (+$75, bringing an Interior Reset to $300 sedan/$350 SUV) and is available as an upgrade on any interior service. It is also included in my adding both Leather Conditioning (+$75) and Pet Hair Removal (+$50) to an Interior Reset.
Kansas heat and UV exposure are particularly hard on leather, I recommend cleaning and conditioning every 3-6 months. Without regular conditioning, leather dries, cracks, and fades.
