How to Get Your Car Detailed While Working From Home, JoCo Guide
Premier Detailing is the perfect WFH workflow add-on. Park in your driveway.
Why remote work scheduling is ideal for a mobile detail appointment
The biggest logistical barrier to getting a car professionally detailed is time, specifically, what to do with a three to four hour block in the middle of a weekday. Before remote work became common in Johnson County, the standard answer was either a Saturday appointment or a day when the owner could drop a car somewhere.
What to set up before the appointment, the two access points I need
For a Full Premier Detail or exterior appointment, I arrive with everything I need to complete your detail, including the McCulloch steam cleaner, RIDGID shop vac, California Air compressor, and RYOBI pressure washer. I confirm a couple of quick details when you book.
How the appointment runs while you work, what to expect during 3-4 hours
A Full Premier Detail appointment is three to four and a half hours depending on vehicle size and contamination level. During that time, the work produces some noise, the RIDGID shop vac, the California Air compressor, and the RYOBI pressure washer are audible in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Which service fits best for a WFH weekday appointment
The Full Premier Detail at $325 for a sedan or $375 for an SUV is the most commonly booked service for WFH appointments, it covers both the complete interior reset and the full exterior decontamination and sealant sequence in a single three to four and a half hour visit, which fits a standard half-day work block. If interior-only is the priority, a vehicle with a heavily contaminated cab from kids, pets, or daily use that does not need exterior work, the Interior Reset at $225 for a sedan or $275 for an SUV takes two to three hours and fits comfortably in a morning or afternoon work block.
How to book a WFH detail in Johnson County
Text 913-391-1868 with your city, vehicle type, and a brief description of what the car needs, interior, exterior, or both, and any specific contamination issues like pet hair, kid mess, salt staining, or a vehicle that has not been detailed in more than a year. I will respond with available appointment times and any questions about your driveway setup before I confirm.
