What to Expect on Detail Day
Whether you just booked or you are thinking about it, this is exactly how a detail with me goes. No surprises is the whole point.
Before I Arrive
- Grab your personal items. Take out valuables and anything you would not want moved. Out of respect for your privacy, I never open or empty compartments that have your things in them. If the glove box, center console, or door pockets are full, I clean around them and leave the contents exactly where they are. Want the inside of those compartments detailed? Just empty them before I arrive.
- Leave me room to work. A parking spot next to the car with space to open all four doors is perfect. A driveway is ideal.
- Exterior services need water. If you booked a Full Premier Detail or The Premier Signature, I use your outdoor water spigot, and my equipment may need a standard outdoor outlet.
- You do not need to be home. As long as the car is unlocked or keys are arranged and I can confirm payment when finished, you can go about your day.
How Add Ons Work
Some conditions take real extra time and product, so they are priced separately instead of hidden inside everyone's price: pet hair removal is $50, leather conditioning is $75, an engine bay detail is $75, and set in stain removal is $100. If your car has one of these, select it when you book so your quote is accurate.
If I arrive and find heavy pet hair, set in stains, or anything else beyond a standard clean that was not in the booking, I will show you what I found, confirm the add on price with you, and only proceed with your OK. You will never see a charge you did not approve.
When I Arrive
We do a quick walkaround of the vehicle together. If you are not home, I take photos instead. I point out anything that is permanent wear rather than dirt, confirm exactly what I am doing, and confirm your final price before any work begins.
What Cleaning Can and Cannot Do
Honest expectations matter more to me than a flashy promise. Professional detailing removes dirt, grime, dust, odors, pet hair, and most stains. It cannot remove permanent damage: deep scratches in paint or plastic, scuffed or gouged trim, cracked or worn leather, torn upholstery, or sun fade. Those are wear, not dirt, and no amount of cleaning erases them. What I promise is your car at the best condition professional detailing can achieve, and I will always tell you the difference on the spot.
While I Work
Depending on the service, plan on 2 to 7 hours. I bring everything: water for the interior work, professional steam equipment, and my own supplies. I treat your driveway like my shop and leave it cleaner than I found it.
When I Finish
We walk the car together and you inspect everything before you pay a dollar. Payment is due at completion: card, Apple Pay, tap to pay, cash, or Venmo. If something is not right, tell me and I make it right. Every detail is backed by my 100% money back guarantee.
