Fairway Is a Small City With the Same Vehicle Quality as Mission Hills Next Door

Fairway covers less than half a square mile between Shawnee Mission Parkway and Johnson Drive, wedged between Mission Hills to the north and Westwood to the south. It's one of the smallest incorporated cities in Kansas.

Shawnee Mission Parkway carries significant daily traffic volume through and past Fairway. Every vehicle commuting that corridor generates brake dust, fine ferrous iron particles that travel through the air and settle on paint surfaces in the immediate area.

The fix is iron decontamination, the first exterior step in The Premier Signature, or a $95 add-on to the Exterior Detail. The spray goes on the paint and wheels, reacts chemically with the embedded iron, turns purple as it works, rinses clear. Then a clay mitt, lubricated with P&S rinseless wash, pulls out the tar and fallout the iron step did not dissolve, and only then does the Protector Wax go on, so it bonds to clean paint instead of sealing the grit in.

Interior Reset ($225 sedan / $275 SUV): Industrial vacuum including trunk and seat rails, air compressor blows every crevice before the vacuum returns, then chemistry matched to the surface: P&S Xpress Interior on the plastics and door panels, Koch-Chemie MZR where it is greasy, Multi Star only when a surface is bad enough to need it. The McCulloch steamer at 212°F lifts what the cleaner loosened on all plastics, door jambs, steering column, cupholders, and vents, then carpets and upholstery get extracted, plastics get a protectant, glass streak-free inside and out.

Full Premier Detail ($350 sedan / $400 SUV): Everything in the interior reset, plus the exterior process: TRX and Wheely Clean on the wheels and tires first so brake dust never lands on clean paint, Koch-Chemie Multi Star pre-wash to break the road film loose, a heavy rinse, a Quivr foam contact wash panel by panel with a high-lubricity soap so the mitt glides instead of grinding grit into the clear coat, dry with Rag Company drying towels, then Koch-Chemie Protector Wax on paint, glass and trim for multi-month protection. The Premier Signature ($500 sedan / $575 SUV) adds iron decontamination on paint and wheels and a clay mitt across every painted surface before the wax. The complete process.

Engine Bay (+$95): Dark Fury degreaser on the grime, sensitive parts covered, a low-pressure rinse, then a seal coat on the plastics and hoses. Fairway homes are older, engines that haven't been cleaned in years accumulate grime that makes it harder to spot fluid leaks and inspect belts and hoses during maintenance.
